\n\"Rush<\/a>Rush<\/em> (IMDB<\/a>) is a sports biopic about two larger-than-life rivals: Formula One drivers James Hunt (Chris Hemsworth) and Niki Lauda (Daniel Br\u00fchl). The movie focuses on their epic battle for the 1976 World Driving Championship.\n<\/div>\n

Hunt was a devil-may-care English playboy. He was handsome, fun-loving and popular but on the track he was fearless and ruthless.<\/p>\n

Lauda was a methodical Austrian, hard-working and humorless. He knew his car better than his mechanics did and focused on getting the most out of it without taking unnecessary risks. Lauda was less daring and perhaps less brilliant than Hunt, but he was more consistent.<\/p>\n

According to the movie they hated each other. Other sources cast doubt on this, but certainly their rivalry inspired both of them to strive harder.<\/p>\n

The movie delivers plenty of racing thrills but most of all it is a fascinating character study which explores what drove these two men to excel at a very difficult and dangerous sport.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
