(<a href=\"http:\/\/www.crunchyroll.com\/space-brothers\">Crunchyroll<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>Oh yeah:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\nThere isn\u2019t a whole lot of nail-biting drama. The whole point is that space flight requires years of meticulous preparation so that you don\u2019t get killed.<\/p>\n<p>Thus the refusal to gloss over the slow selection process. You spend months selecting the right astronauts, then probably years in training and preparation, all for a flight that might last only a few weeks. (And you hope that the flight will be the least dramatic part.)<br \/>\n<span class=\"small\"><a href=\"\/fun\/2012\/12\/31\/space-brothers-doesnt-end\/\">&#8211;Space Brothers doesn&#8217;t end<\/a><\/span>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bugfox.net\/fun\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/Buggy-Jump.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/bugfox.net\/fun\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/Buggy-Jump-550x306.jpg\" alt=\"Buggy Jump\" width=\"550\" height=\"306\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-8424\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bugfox.net\/fun\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/Buggy-Jump-550x306.jpg 550w, https:\/\/bugfox.net\/fun\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/Buggy-Jump-150x83.jpg 150w, https:\/\/bugfox.net\/fun\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/Buggy-Jump-500x278.jpg 500w, https:\/\/bugfox.net\/fun\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/Buggy-Jump.jpg 851w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nSo of course they <em>immediately<\/em> started a new story arc in which an accident (an accident that ought to have been preventable with a little more foresight) puts astronauts in danger. Which leads to weeks of cliffhangers and a near-tragic ending.<\/p>\n<p>What can I say? Only that such things happen in real life too.
