It&#8217;s a sweet, poignant little story with few real surprises, certainly not as dark as I feared it might be.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/fun\/2011\/04\/30\/anohana-anime-early-impressions\/\">I was wrong<\/a> to compare it to a Jun Maeda story. It&#8217;s a different kind of story, which may be a good or a bad thing depending on how you feel about Jun Maeda.
