I reviewed the original series <a href=\"\/fun\/2007\/09\/06\/mushi-shi-anime-review\/\">here<\/a>. I gave it 5 stars. The new season has the same cast, the same studio, the same look and the same kind of writing.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/bugfox.net\/fun\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Bird-mushi.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/bugfox.net\/fun\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Bird-mushi-550x309.jpg\" alt=\"Bird mushi\" width=\"550\" height=\"309\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-10291\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bugfox.net\/fun\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Bird-mushi-550x309.jpg 550w, https:\/\/bugfox.net\/fun\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Bird-mushi-150x84.jpg 150w, https:\/\/bugfox.net\/fun\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Bird-mushi-500x281.jpg 500w, https:\/\/bugfox.net\/fun\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Bird-mushi.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nSo anyone who liked the first season will probably feel the same way about the second. It&#8217;s a matter of taste, but I like it a lot.<\/p>\n<p>Each episode is a self-contained story, which means that you don&#8217;t need to have watched the first season to enjoy the second. Since I consider it a classic I would recommend that you <em>do<\/em> watch the first season (it&#8217;s available on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hulu.com\/grid\/mushi-shi?categories=subtitled\">Hulu<\/a>) but if you don&#8217;t you should still be able to follow the stories in the second season without much trouble.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I don&#8217;t have much to say about Mushi-shi Sequel Series a.k.a.
